~Mutt Strut~
The Mutt Strut is the Quincy Humane Society’s largest fundraiser of the
year. The money raised allows the Board of Directors and staff to maintain
a healthy, loving environment for homeless pets, provide adoption services,
and continue offering other community based programs such as a low cost
spay/neuter clinic and humane education programs. This event is a family
affair and we encourage everyone who supports the Humane Society to join
in the fun, whether you currently have a pet or not! Participants collect
pledges to be turned in the day of the event. Those who collect the most
are eligible to win some very nice prizes.
This year’s Mutt Strut was a great time! We had lots of activities
aside from the walk, including games and prizes, contests,
auctions, and food.
We will see you next year on October 4th, 2008 ready for the next Mutt
Strut,
