The first Saturday of every October brings the Quincy Humane Society’s Mutt Strut. The Mutt Strut is QHS’ biggest fundraiser of the year. All of the proceeds benefit the shelter, which is a privately funded, no-kill facility – we receive no money from the city, state or federal governments. Brochures are now available for "Woofstock", our 2009 Mutt Strut. Click below to download the PDF. On the day of the big event, everyone will meet at South Park in Quincy. At registration, donations will be collected and goody bags and t-shirts will be rewarded to anyone raising at least $25. Those that raise $100 or more will also receive a Quincy Humane Society fleece sweatshirt, as well as enter for a chance to win some great prizes. Larger prizes are awarded to those that raise the most money. At 11:00am, everyone walks their dogs around the park. Vendors, a silent auction, food, and other activities are also available during the entire morning. To begin participating in this year's Mutt Strut, click below to download a sponsor sheet.
