At Quincy Humane Society we understand that you might not be able to adopt, but there are many other ways you can make an impact on the lives of countless animals. When you share your gifts of time, talent and or treasure, you are help us to continue working out our mission every day – serving the people and pets of our community.
Adoption: Did you know in 2024, Quincy Humane Society took in 550+ animals who were looking for a second chance in a loving home. When you adopt, you are aren’t just saving the life of the pet you take home, you are saving the lives of many animals in our community.
Foster: Our fosters make a huge impact on our organization when they open their hearts and homes to a mother cat with her litter of kittens, puppies who aren’t quite old enough to stay in the shelter environment yet, or the cat or dog who needs a break from the shelter.
Volunteer: From walking dogs, socializing kittens, helping out adoption events – our volunteers have the unique opportunity to work with our animals in the shelter and take them out and about in our community. There are volunteer opportunities for all ages!
Donate: To ensure we can continue providing quality care for our animals donation of much needed supplies and or monetary donations help make our work possible.
