Shelter Veterinarian:
Job Summary:
The Quincy Humane Society’s Shelter Veterinarian is responsible for daily evaluation, diagnosis, care and treatment of all shelter and foster animals – assisting in developing protocols and procedures related to health and well being of animals. Provide supportive care for adopted QHS animals and the community animals as needed.
Quincy Humane Society runs a spay and neuter clinic and the Shelter Veterinarian is responsible for performing those surgical procedures on all QHS animals as well as animals owned by community members. The Shelter Veterinarian is also responsible for working with the surgical team to run a vaccine and wellness clinic. Maintain a positive and professional image for QHS at all times.
Competitive Salary: $90,000 – $100,000 annually +merit based raises
