As a Quincy Humane Society Unicorn Foster, you’ll be helping save the most at-risk, and long stay dogs in our care. We call these dogs Unicorns because we understand just how special they really are! Ideally, Unicorn Fosters are fosters who have no kids, no other pets, and no frequent company and can provide the perfect environment outside of the shelter to give these sweet dogs a much deserved break, and most importantly, a chance. Unicorn Fosters play a vital role in helping us here at the Quincy Humane Society carry out our life-saving mission.
During the foster, all resources and materials will be provided to you! Such as food, toys, bowls, bedding, a kennel, and anything you may need. We also will offer in-home training sessions, and specialized support to make to make this a successful and smooth transition for you, and your foster!
